How to upgrate Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 Wi-Fi to Android Lollipop

Note: You can update only with Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 Wi-Fi. Please don't try to update with other devices. Before update, please backup any data and document. I don't guarantee what will happen with your device it's your own risk.

If your computer unknown your device you need to install driver first:

1. Download TWRP / CWM for Custom Recovery Mode

2. Flash TWRP with Odin
- Volume Down + Home + Power buttons at the same time. At the warning screen, press Vol Up to enter Download Mode.
- Now plug in your device to the PC. You should see an Added! message in the Odin window

    - Click the PDA or AP button in ODIN and load the TWRP Recovery tar.md5 file that you downloaded to your desktop.
    - In ODIN, uncheck the Auto Reboot box. This is because the OS will re-flash the stock recovery upon reboot.

    - Click the Start button in Odin to start flashing the recovery.
    - Once done, you should see a PASS message at the top-left in Odin.
    - Disconnect the tablet and reboot to TWRP. You can do this by pressing and holding Volume Up + Home + Power buttons together
    3. Download the CM 12 zip file from here.
    4. Download Gapps for CM 12 ROMs:

      - Download Gapps for Android 5.1.x Lollipop ROMs here.
      - Download Gapps for CM 12 Android 5.x Lollipop ROM here.
      -Download Gapps for Paranoid Android 5.x Lollipop ROM here.
      - Download Slim Gapps for SlimLP ROMs here.
      5. Transfer the CM 12 Rom and Gapps to your tablet’s internal storage.


        - after you’ve moved the files you can disconnect the device from computer.
        - do not extract the archived contents of these files.
        6. Power off the tablet. Now boot it in Custom Recovery Mode.

          - Pressing Volume Up, Home and Power buttons at the same time.
          -Release the buttons when the Recovery menu loads.
          -Both CWM and TWRP will work with the instructions in this post.
          7. Create a complete NANDROID Backup for your tablet:
          - CWM: select the ‘backup and restore’ option.
          - For TWRP select the ‘backup’ option.
          - Set a name for the file and confirm process.
          8. Start the ‘factory reset’ process:

          - CWM: select ‘wipe data/ factory reset’.
          - TWRP: select ‘wipe’ options.
          - Confirm the process and continue to the next step after its done.
          9. Start the installation of CM 12:

          - CWM: select ‘install zip from sdcard’, then ‘choose zip from sdcard’.
          - TWRP: select ‘install’.
          10. Install the CM 12 ROM zip file.
          11. Install the Gapps zip after the CyanogenMod 12 ROM is flashed.
          12. Reboot the tablet in normal mode after all the files are installed with success.
          Note that the first boot process of this new ROM is going to take a while before it loads all the new files.
          13. Create a CM profile or use your own Gmail account in order to regain control over your Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 Wi-Fi.
